In scripture God calls Israel the apple of His eye:

Can you imagine, meddling with the nation of Israel, dictating her policies, denying her the ability of national self defense; actually helping to create the situation that foments terrorism, and greater antagonism against this nation, is equivalent, according to the passages above, to poking God in the eye! How long would He tolerate such a thing? Even God has limits on His patience, and I'm afraid that for the Eternal One, it has come to an end!
Its been said that "the center of the world is Israel, and that the center of Israel is Jerusalem, and the center of Jerusalem is the Temple, and finally, the center of the Temple is the Holy of Holies, for its here that God would meet His people", one day out of the entire year, on the day of Yom Kipur.
So lets start with the Temple: You may have heard already that talks about re-building the Temple has reached new found zeal and fervor, and Jews are intent, despite the hardships and trials it would mean politically, to get their Temple back.

"God's Holy Mountain Vision" project was launched last week, a new Jewish initiative to build the Third Temple on the Temple Mount beside the Dome of the Rock without tearing it down. Director of the initiative Yoav Frankel argues that a prophet could, by divine revelation, determine the precise site of the Temple and could have it rebuilt without the need to destroy the Muslim shrine."
[Intriguing that the determining factor for locating the precise site would be left to a 'prophet' and not archaeologists with highly technical equipment; could this make room for some form of occultic involvement??]
"This vision of religious shrines in peaceful proximity can transform the Temple Mount from a place of contention to its original sacred role as a place of worship shared by Jews, Muslims and Christians," said Frankel. Of course, both Jews and Muslims oppose the proposal. Many Jews do not believe that the Temple should be built until the Messiah comes. Muslims agree that no Jewish temple should be built near their shrine.
Sheikh Abdulla Nimar Darwish, founder of the Islamic Movement in Israel, argues that it's pointless to discuss rebuilding the Temple until the "mahdi" – the Muslim messiah comes. "Why are we taking upon ourselves the responsibility to decide such things?" Darwish said in a telephone interview with The Jerusalem Post. "Even Jews believe that it is prohibited to rebuild the Temple until the messiah comes. So what is there to talk about."
Darwish warned that attempts to rebuild the Temple before the Messiah would only result in mayhem. "As long as there is a Muslim alive, no Jewish Temple will be built on Al-Haram Al-Sharif. The status-quo must be maintained, otherwise there will be bloodshed."
The Dome of the Rock, which dominates the skyline of Jerusalem, was erected on the Temple Mount in the late 7th century. Muslims believe that the dome is built over the spot where Mohammad ascended into heaven, making it a very holy site in Islam.
In 1967 Israel regained control of the Temple Mount, but shortly after gave the Muslim Waqf (religious trust) the authority to manage the mount in order to keep peace. Since 2006, visitors have been allowed to enter the compound at restricted times. Non-Muslim worshipers are still not permitted to enter the area. Jewish authorities do not approve of entering the compound anyway, primarily because the site of the ancient Temple is still holy and there is no purification system in place to make worshipers ritually clean. There is also concern that people might accidentally tread across the site of the Holy of Holies.
The Chief Rabbinate of Israel has placed signs outside the Temple Mount that state in Hebrew and English: "ANNOUNCEMENT AND WARNING: According to the Torah it is forbidden for any person to enter the area of the Temple Mount due to its sacredness."
On Tuesday June 23, Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch visited the Temple Mount to review how police would deploy in case of an emergency. Aharonovitch's spokesman said that the visit was coordinated with the Waqf, who accompanied the minister around the site. However, a visit by Ariel Sharon in 2000 sparked the bloody Al-Aqsa Intifada, and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Mohammed Hussein, called Aharonovitch's recent visit, "an assault on an Islamic place." When a simple visit by an Israeli official causes violent anger among Muslims, the possibility of another Jewish Temple seems impossible.
Still, the Bible speaks of a future Temple, one that stands in Jerusalem when the Man of Sin arrives to sit in the Temple and pretend to be God (2 THESS 2:3-4). For nearly 2000 years, the Jews have been without a Temple, and they long for its presence once again in Jerusalem. Despite the current existence of the Dome of the Rock, members of the Temple Mount Faithful movement have been preparing the necessary articles and priests necessary to resume ritual worship.
According to the Bible, both in the Old Testament and the New, the Temple will be rebuilt. The question is just when.

That is exactly the question: WHEN will it be built? It could be tomorrow, it might not be for two decades. One thing is certain; once it's built, it will be a monumental benchmark of such significance as to be compared to 1948's event when Israel became a nation, and 1967 when biblical Jerusalem was restored to the Jews, indicating where we are prophetically speaking.
Another fascinating aspect of late concerning the Temple is the possibility of the Ark of the Covenant in Ethiopia being ratified as 'the real deal':

Israel is the major topic of Bible prophecy, mentioned more than 2,900 times, nearly twice as many times as her Messiah. Without Israel there would be no Messiah and no salvation for anyone, Jew or Gentile. The first mention of His coming is in God's rebuke of the guilty parties involved in man's fall in Eden: the serpent (an identity that Satan retains from Genesis to Revelation) and Adam and Eve.
Of course the struggles that Israel endures just to survive in the midst of such cruel hatred has been a recurrent theme throughout her long, long history. Yet Pharaoh failed to wipe her out, as did Nebuchadnezzar, and every emperor, president, chancellor, and political and religious leader since her beginnings!
Even the PLO and Hamas and every other radical faction of militant Islam has to-date, failed to wipe Israel off the map and "into the sea" as has been repeatedly promised.
Hitler was one who came close to committing genocide on Israel; under his abhorrent administration, nearly 1 out of 3 Jews were killed in Germany, and over all of Europe! When I visited Israel for the first time (1993) I went to the Holocaust Museum, and was stunned to see a map, complete with red glowing lights that indicated concentration camps, and killing zones where Jews were murdered wholesale. These red dots were all over the map of Europe!
We can't let ourselves be deceived that anti-Semitism was a product exclusively of evil Nazi's that held Germany in its death grip!
In today's world anti-Semitism is sky rocketing, and certainly no less in Islamic nations where they are sworn to destroying Israel. They have tried in over half a dozen wars over the past few decades, and in each case, they failed miserably, even when equipped with the Soviet Union's (at the time) state-of-the-art military hardware. Even when sensitive information was leaked to them about IDF tactics by none other than the UNITED STATES! More on this in just a bit . . .
Islam faced an unbeatable foe in Israel, and so they switched tactics, borrowing a lesson from Adolf Hitler and a similar situation he faced with Czechoslovakia. Not many know about this particular piece of history, but I think you will find it not only fascinating, but alarming in its parallelism to today's situation!

Yet whereas such tactics proved successful with Czechoslovakia, it will falter where Israel is concerned, quite simply because the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is her defense! While I firmly believe in praying for Israel, and we do this quite often, seeking God to protect, nurture and defend His people, its important to realize that scripture speaks of Israel surviving even the greatest trial of her existence, during Daniel's 70th week, during which time TWO out of three Jews will die.
Yet she will endure, even when confronted with super powers like the United States. No nation that has gone against Israel has prospered, and many have ceased to exist. This is why I worry more over the survival of America than I do for Israel, for we have now openly turned our backs on this nation of God (as well as God Himself)!

You might ask why has the United States switched sides, and turned against Israel, when we've been allies for so long?
Some might suggest that we've sold Israel out for oil, and while this is a political factor, its fundamentally a pointless one; the United States could become independent of her oil needs if certain globalists didn't have a vested interest in continuing their wealth from oil revenues.
It isn't President Obama that started the downhill slide of the ruination of our country by turning against Israel (he is however, by far the most outspoken!). Former President George W. Bush made it clear that he wanted Israel to return to her 1948 armistace borders (a pencil-shaped parcel of land) and to give the Palestinian people Jerusalem for their city; effectively cutting Israel in half in this manner, this mandate would have assured Israel's destruction.
Every Secretary of State since the regathering of Israel in 1948 has, while serving their term in office, was also a member of the CFR (Council on Foreign Relation) and each covertly (and sometimes not so) worked against Israel, tipping off Islamic forces with sensitive information about Israel's defensive and espionage protocols. James Baker was notorious for this, under the administration of George Bush Sr.
The N.S.A. (National Security Administration) was and is also staunchly oppossed to the nation of Israel and works to subvert her own security.
People the world over, when interviewed about the Middle East, and asked what the biggest problem in that region is, will answer, "Israel!"
Yet if we examine the history of the Middle East, and determine how much trouble Israel has actually caused simply in the realm of warfare, and statistics in casualties, the answer is clear.
In the entire 60 yr. plus history of Israel, how many enemy casualties have their been as as result of war? 70,000.
At the same time, other wars in the region that had nothing to do with Israel racked up much higher numbers and catastrophe. Let's take a look:
In the Egyptian vs. Yemen conflict - 250,000
Algerian Civil War - over 1 million dead
Lebanese Civil War - 150,000 dead
Libyan Incursion into Chad - 100,000
Sudanese Civil War - 500,000 dead
Iraq vs. Iran War - over 1 million dead.
Even by the numbers we can see that if Israel didn't even exist, the strife and contentions, wars and slaughters of the Middle East region would still be a considerable blood bath.
Thus to say that Israel is the cause of all the problems in the Middle East is untrue.
The Palestinian Problem - Can It Be Solved?
The War for Independence for Israel resulted in a significant number of refugees on both sides. Muslim leaders urged their brethren to flee Israel so that their combined might could wipe them out, and bury them in the sea. Once the war was over with Israel as the winner, the Jewish refugees that fled various Muslim nations numbered about 800,000; the total population of Israel at that time was a mere 650,000; as you can see, their absorption of all those refugees was a monumental task, and one they accomplished quite successfully.
At that time the total Muslim population was around 50 million people, and the refugees they had to deal with numbered about 600,000. Yet these were not re-integrated into their former national states (mostly Syrians), but kept in refugee camps, where they still reside today!
Why are they still there? They serve an enormous advantage as a propaganda ploy on the part of the Muslims and the U.N. As the world looks on, they despise Israel for allowing these people to live in squalor and hopelessness. Never a word or question is spoken about why they aren't allowed to return to their various homelands. Certainly this would be an obtainable goal for a people 50 million strong? The U.N. paid the P.L.O. "x" number of dollars per Palestinian head, if they were kept in these camps.
An interesting point of fact is that the P.L.O. was created in 1964; this was three years prior to Israel taking Jerusalem, and acquiring the land of the 'West bank' which the P.L.O. later contested. Yet this organization which claimed an objective to take back the rightful land that Israel occupied, existed 3 yrs. prior to the problem! Its stated goal in their charter was to "liberate ALL of Palestine" not just contested areas.
The Palestinian issue is really a non-problem; its simply a ploy to make Israel look like 'the bad guy' and its working! If these people were simply allowed to integrate into Israeli society (peaceably) or return to their own native countries, this so-called 'problem' would vanish like smoke in a gale!
The same kind of obfuscation, inversions of the truth, and propaganda that made Hitler's campaign so successful against Czechoslavakia is being daily perpetrated on Israel by the Muslims, the U.N., the E.U. and the United States, as well as the major media.

In 1967 Egypt, armed heavily by the Soviet Union, Syria, Iraq and Jordan attacked Israel, and Israel won another decisive victory, capturing the Sinai, Gaza, the Golan Heights, Judea and Samaria, all without any help from any nation on the planet, even though the U.S. promised beforehand in writing to come to Israel's aid should she be attacked, in exchange for the Sinai which was to be given back to Egypt.
Yet when Israel called upon the United States to come assist them in their hour of need, the State Dept. lamely stated that it "could not find a copy of the agreement."
During the war, the U.S. Naval ship U.S.S. Liberty was stationed in the Meditterenean Sea, supposedly to moniter the situation, yet the U.S. embassy in Beirut could have done this job easily, as could the Egyptian embassy in Jordan. So what was the ship doing there?
It had sensitive listening instruments and recording devices onboard that sucked up every speck of 'electronic dust' in the way of radio transmissions from all IDF units; this information was compressed and then beamed to a British base in Cyprus, decoded it, and created an electronic map of the area, positioning all of the IDF units, and their manuevers. This was forwarded to Muslim forces!
Such a breach could not be tolerated by the IDF and they had a tough decision to make: either take out the American ship, or allow 25,000 Jewish soldiers to die. They opted for the shipm which by the way was not under the command of U.S. Naval forces, but was under special commission to . . . the N.S.A.!

As It Is Now, So It Was Then, And Will Be Yet . . .
Even as far back as WW 2, when Jews were fleeing oppression in Europe, and it was only a matter of months before the ovens would be fired up in Nazi concentration camps, that one such vessel, on its way to safety in New York's harbor, was turned back by F.D.R. who had foreknowledge of what was to transpire in Germany!
Hitler plainly stated his case about what he would do with European Jewry (note, not German Jewry) in his book Mein Kamf and he systematically proceeded to do just as he promised. Even in the Geneva Convention, when he sat down with F.D.R., Churchill, and Stalin he offered to give the Jews to any one of them, or he would get rid of them in his own way. Each man sitting at that table knew what he was talking about, and not one of them spoke up and accepted the offer to rescue the Jews!

ABANDONMENT of the JEWS
FDR deliberately hurt Jews by restricting their immigration to nearly zero and opposing opening refugee camps in N. Africa (Wyman p 117).
In June 1939, FDR refused to save 900 Jews aboard the ship St. Louis.
FDR repeatedly endorsed the Holocaust - he suppressed news about it (Treasury Report) and would not permit bombing of deportation railways or crematoria at the camps even when it could have saved hundreds of thousands of lives (Wyman p 295).
FDR delayed the freeing of prison camps in the Netherlands as long as possible so the Jews would die.
Report to the Secretary on the Acquiescence of this Government in the Murder of the Jews, Treasury Department, January 13, 1944, said FDR was "guilty not only of gross procrastination and willful failure to act, but even of willful attempts to prevent action from being taken to rescue Jews from Hitler."
Just one fact of many that are in the report - "By the act of 1924, we are permitted to admit approximately 150,000 immigrants each year. During the last fiscal year only 23,725 came as immigrants. Of these only 4,705 were Jews fleeing Nazi persecution."

Such despicable deeds perpetrated upon Israel by this man will certainly not go unnoticed by the LORD of Glory, Jesus of Nazareth; and He will absolutely see that justice is done on behalf of His brethren!

Today the strife and contention is at fever pitch, and one must wonder when the Divine Hammer will come down in all its strength. Its interesting to note that in the book of Joel, chapter Three it states:
JOEL 3:1-2
For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
Its interestingwhen you consider the current situation in the Middle East, and this farce of a 'peace' process, which really isn't about the size of Israel, but the very existance of Israel: they should call it the "Piece Process" because where they failed to take Israel by whole, in warfare, they are desiring to take that nation piece, by piece!
They are indeed endeavoring to "part" God's land; that word is very interesting, and most telling in regards to the modus operandi of Israel's enemies.
Observe:
The Hebrew word is "chalaq" and it means "to be smooth (ref. to smooth stones for the purpose of casting lots), to apportion, to seperate, divide, flatter, distribute, dealt, imparted, partner, portion, received, separate. To divide, share, plunder, assign, distribute;"
There are those that believe Israel is being unreasonable, and stubbornly obstinate in their refusal to cooperate in peace talks, unwilling to part with any fraction of land. This is quite plainly untrue! Read the following:
"Ehud Barak shocked the world by offering the Palestinians virtually everything they had been demanding," Alan Dershowitz writes in his book "The Case for Israel," "including a state with its capital in Jerusalem, control over the Temple Mount, a return of approximately 95 percent of the West Bank and all the Gaza strip, and a $30 billion compensation package for the 1948 refugees." They reciprocated with suicide bombs. That's no way to enhance a love affair. Olmert offered them even more than Barak. He, too, was spurned. And now a right-wing prime minister, Netanyahu, calls for a two-state solution and he is accused of postponing peace for 1,000 years and "burying the peace process." It's quite obvious by their call to arms and denial of Israel that they'd much rather be burying Jews."

This time around, having just monitored Lebanon's elections, he's on his way to visit his pals in Syria, the West Bank and Gaza. Don't expect him to be giving anyone in those places a hard time about stopping hate and terror against Israelis. But do expect his contempt for Israel to come full surface when he visits the Jewish state – which is also on his itinerary. It will be no surprise when Carter's reprimands for Israel will begin, seeing that this sole democracy in the Middle East is the country for which Carter holds particular disdain and, therefore, has called an "apartheid state" – an "apartheid state," mind you, where Arabs are treated better than in any other country in the Middle East.
The ex-president. . . is just coming off his high of supporting Hamas during the Gaza war. Indeed, in a Washington Post piece entitled "An Unnecessary War," Carter engaged in an intellectual perversion that is difficult to match. He discussed the conflict as if Article XI in Hamas' Charter doesn't exist – and as if Israel was committing a crime by fighting for its right to life. With a pathological mind frame that includes enough material warranting an entire psychiatric conference, Carter referred to "a defensive tunnel" being dug by Hamas. This gives inspiration to a curious question: What "defensive" structures did Hitler's gas chamber engineers build during their construction of Auschwitz, Dachau, Buchenwald and Treblinka?

JIMMY CARTER's MORAL TURPITUDE
We see opposition from every quarter against Israel, just as the Bible declared thousands of years ago, and yet Israel still persists; she isn't backing down to any one, including the U.S. President, including Iran, including E.U. and Hamas, and any one else one can think of: it seems she doesn't have a single friend in all the world:
EXCEPT for Biblical Christians who know their Bibles, and God's plan for this nation, in accord with the entire canon of Old Testament scripture, and even in the New Testament, such as Acts ch. 15, and Romans ch's. 9, 10, and 11. We are friends of this land, of these people, and even more importantly: we are friends of the GOD of ISRAEL, and stand for the Truth of His promises made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! And He that keeps Israel will neither sleep nor slumber! PSALM 121:4
Its important indeed, that we the church maintain steadfast prayer and intercession for these people: they are not a perfect people certainly. They make mistakes, they are susceptible to the same sorts of tempation and corruption as the rest of humanity. They have not yet come to understand just exactly Who their Messiah is, but its promised in the Word that they one day, will!!
Their resilience and stamina are remarkable, and I believe are God given; check out this article that elaborates on their readiness to confront Iran, now that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been re-elected (if that's what you want to call it) as President, and has re-confirmed his commitment to the destruction of Israel.
Let us remain vigilant in watching the nation of Israel, and prayerfully interceed for the "peace of Jerusalem" which will not truly arrive until the Prince of Peace, The Messiah of Israel, Y'shua stands within her gates!

From the very beginning, when God called Abram from the land of the Chaldees, from the city of Ur, throughout the history of Israel, from the time of Moses, to King David, to the times of Christ and beyond, Satan has been a devestating advesary of this nation. One might ask, Why?
Quite simply because if Satan can destroy Israel, then the prophecies that concern this nation (and they are abundantly through out scripture) can't be fulfilled and the Word of God would be broken, and Satan will have 'won'.
This is why anti-Semitism is unlike any other kind of bigotry; certainly all such is sinful. Yet, anti-Semitism is specifically Satanically inspired. It will fuel the fires of hatred to an inferno at the battle of Armageddon, when all the nations of the world send their armies marching on that tiny nation with the maliscious intent to destroy her. It is then, that the Messiah will arrive, defend Israel, mete out holy terror and judgment on the people of this world, these rebels against the Most Holy and Righteous KING of Kings, the King of Eternal Glory, Majesty, and Power.
